People had questions after cameras caught an unidentified woman wearing plain clothes and sneakers while also wearing a vest and carrying a rifle while on the scene of Thursday’s shooting incident at Florida State University.

Initial reports claimed that four people were injured in the shooting around midday, but it’s now being reported that six people were hurt. One person is understood to be critically wounded, and five others are nursing serious injuries.

Various outlets have made claims of a suspect being taken into custody, with CBS Miami noting that it wasn’t before a shootout with police. CNN also reports that a suspect has been arrested.

Amid the frenzy, a woman wearing a white top, red pants, and white sneakers was shown handing shackles to a uniformed male. Folks were wondering who she was, given that she had a rifle slung over her left shoulder while wearing a tactical vest.

“Who is this badass at Florida State University?” someone asked on X.

Check her out in the video below:

“She’s the secret weapon of the law,” a user offered.

Frrrr. She means business!! God bless her,” said another.

“professional dress with the tac gear, she was ready,” someone else said.

“She might be a deputy US Marshal,” one user noted.

“The same bad*ss with no mag in her rifle?” someone asked.

“She should be holding the cuffs with her support hand, not her firing hand,” a user observed.

Not much is clear about Thursday’s events at Florida State University, including the identity of the woman shown above. Maybe she was off duty at the time and rushed to assist, given the gravity of the situation.

It’s worth noting that the shooter may have still been at large at the time she was notified of the circumstances, so putting on a uniform would have wasted precious time. The video also shows someone being shackled at the back of an ambulance, which suggests that there was no threat at the time and might explain the lack of a magazine.
